CALL FOR PAPERS：Thriving Rough Sets
----10th Anniversary - Honoring Professor Zdzisław Pawlak's Life and Legacy
& 35 years of Rough Sets
It is the 10th anniversary of Professor Pawlak’s death. The International Rough Set Society (IRSS) is organizing two special memorial sessions commemorating this. There was a Plenary Panel on the Legacy of Professor Zdzisław Pawlak at FedCSIS2016, September 11-14, 2016, https://www.fedcsis.org/2016/plenary_panel, and will be a special memorial session for Professor Pawlak at IJCRS2016, October 7-11, 2016, http://www.ijcrs2016.cl/.
In addition to the two special events, IRSS is going to publish a special book dedicated to Professor Pawlak, entitled “Thriving Rough Sets----10th Anniversary - Honoring Professor Zdzisław Pawlak's Life and Legacy & 35 years of Rough Sets”, which will be published within the series "Studies in Computational Intelligence" of Springer in 2017.
Papers concerning Rough Set Theory and Application, and related topics, are welcome. Especially, papers commemorating contributions of Professor Zdzisław Pawlak are most welcome.
